Privacy Policy

If you submit the contact form or book a call, the name, email address, phone number and message you provide are collected so that your enquiry can be answered. Nothing more is asked for, and the form is not used to build a profile on you.

Standard server and analytics data — pages requested, approximate region, browser type, referring page — is collected to understand which pages are useful. This is not tied to a name.

Calls are booked through Google Calendar appointment scheduling. The information you enter there is handled by Google under its own privacy policy.

To respond to you, to deliver work you have engaged Narrow Path Strategies to do, to send correspondence relating to that work, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

Your information is not sold, rented, or traded. It is not shared with advertisers, and it is not used to train machine-learning models.

NPOS is Narrow Path Strategies's internal business operating system. It is not a product sold to the public and it is not multi-tenant software. It is used by Narrow Path Strategies to run Narrow Path Strategies.

NPOS connects to QuickBooks Online through Intuit's official API in order to read Narrow Path Strategies's own accounting records — its accounts, customers, invoices, payments and financial reports. It does not connect to, request, or receive any other organisation's QuickBooks data.

That connection is authorised by Seth Beckman through Intuit's OAuth flow and can be revoked at any time from within QuickBooks Online, which immediately ends NPOS's access. Access tokens are held as encrypted environment configuration and are never written to source control, logs, or anywhere a third party can reach them.

QuickBooks data retrieved by NPOS is used only to produce internal financial reporting and bookkeeping checks — for example, matching money received in the bank against recorded client payments. It is not disclosed to third parties, not used for advertising, and not used to train machine-learning models.

Business records are stored in managed cloud infrastructure — Supabase (PostgreSQL) and Google Cloud Platform — located in the United States. Access is restricted to Seth Beckman.

Reasonable technical measures are in place, including encryption in transit, credentials held only in environment configuration, and least-privilege API keys. No system is perfectly secure, and no promise is made here that this one is.

Narrow Path Strategies uses established third-party providers to operate, including Intuit (QuickBooks Online), Google (email, calendar, cloud), Supabase, Vercel, Plaid (read-only bank transaction data for its own accounts) and Anthropic (AI processing). Each handles data under its own privacy policy.

Enquiries and client records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the work and to satisfy tax and legal record-keeping requirements, then deleted. Financial records are retained as long as United States tax law requires.

You may ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing sbeckman@narrowpathstrategies.com. Requests are handled personally, usually within a few business days. Deletion requests are honoured except where a record must be retained by law.

This website and NPOS are intended for business use. They are not directed at children under 13, and information is not knowingly collected from them.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated directly.
